Welcome to My Blog
So I finally got around to starting a blog. This is where I'll dump whatever random tech stuff I'm messing with on weekends and after work. Mostly hobby programming projects, DevOps experiments that probably shouldn't work but somehow do, and whatever else seems interesting at the time.
Quick Disclaimer
Everything here is personal stuff I do on my own time with my own equipment and money. None of this has anything to do with my day job, and honestly they'd probably laugh at some of my experiments. These are my own projects, my own opinions, my own mistakes. My employer definitely doesn't endorse any of this chaos.
What You'll Find Here
I'll probably write about whatever I'm tinkering with, which lately includes:
- Cloud architecture experiments in my personal AWS account (RIP my credit card)
- Home lab disasters and occasional successes
- Weekend coding projects that seemed like good ideas at 2am
- Infrastructure as Code stuff that works on my machine
- Random automation scripts that save me 5 minutes after taking 5 hours to write
Why Another Tech Blog?
Look, I know there's already a million tech blogs out there. But sometimes you just need a place to document your own stuff, you know? Plus its fun to build things. This blog is basically just an excuse to overengineer a simple website with CloudFront and Lambda and pretend its a learning experience.
I learn by breaking things, fixing them, then breaking them again in new and creative ways. If you're into that kind of thing, maybe you'll find something useful here. Or at least mildly entertaining.
Get In Touch
If you want to tell me I'm doing something wrong (I probably am), or share your own disasters, theres a contact form that actually works. Fair warning though - I built it myself so who knows what'll happen when you click submit.
Anyway, welcome to whatever this is. Hopefully some of it will be useful. Or at least not actively harmful.
